Everyone has a unique personality that is not the same to others and this is usually shown through events. Think about it, when you attend a wedding for the first time, your eyes get drawn to what the bridesmaids are wearing, what the flower choice is and the set up of the reception. In this, it is important to understand your personality first before making that distinct choice to go ahead with your event. Here are 3 pointers to think about when starting to plan the event.

1. What is your/the recipients' personality

Every single event has to have USP (unique selling point). Why? because when the guest walks into the room, they are able to learn a lot about you or the couple. 90% of the time, the design will show the aspect of your brand identity. This is why it is advisable to know your personality and whether you are a flower personality, a plain color personality or a patterns personality. In this case, your brand identity will be highlighted by the colors you love which develops right from childhood. For example, there are those who prefer bright colors to show their personality as fun and welcoming, others like dull colors to show their personality as orderly but calm. Therefore, it is important to understand your or the recipient's brand before commencing with the planning.

2. Choose colors that work together:-

You are planning a wedding or bridal shower or groom shower and know that the bride likes purple and the groom likes blue. Well, there are certainly shades that might correspond but keep in mind that these are dull colors and need to be brightened in one way or another. There are so many ways that these colors would clash. Therefore, sit down together and have a main color between the two then blend them with *a touch of*. There are endless possibilities of shades to work with in these two colors. However, not having a clear picture of how the colors will look generally has a striking resemblance on the whole event. If you feel like the your meeting was not as productive as expected, get a professional to assist you in coming up with a unique and cost-friendly idea or a theme that might exemplify the two colors while maintaining that sense of class.

3. The White space

There are so many articles written on about the white space and that is because it is an important color to use in any event. White exemplifies a space by showing an open personality. For example, if you walk in a room and its all white with large windows, light would express itself more freely. This is why white is an advisable color to use for any event because it creates an atmosphere of openness for the guests. It is also possible to play around with colors like black but it depends on the brand identity you would love to present to the guests. Always ensure that when using a color other than white, your theme is well established on the first glance.

Always remember that when you are choosing your colors, you should also consider how it will play a role with the guests involved. The decor creates your personality and builds the rhythm for the whole day. It is also advisable to work with a theme so that your flowers, the draping, extras and the assortments all bear that single identity. Having different themes creates confusion for your personality, which needs tranquility and uniformity for a beautiful project.
